I am usually a hater when it comes to celebrities, but Ashanti did her thang LIVE in Okinawa, JP this past weekend. She danced and sang at the same time (which I thought she couldn't do) until I heard her live. She sure can carry a tune and she wasn't out of breath the way I thought she would be. Ashanti's CD 'The Declaration' is pretty hot and I guess my days of hating on Ashanti are over - for now - she just won a fan. I enjoyed the concert and I went there with intentions of hating on her, but I really enjoyed it.

UPDATE!!! Ashanti's hair care line FLOPPED!!!!

Remember Feb 2006 the song bird Ashanti launched that haircare line that looked like salad dressing for childrens salads? Well, that ish FLOPPED!!! It was launched in a few of the southern states and it didn't sell AT ALL. She lost a lot of money in the deal, to the tune of $65,000 - and thats a WHOLE LOT for an artist who isn't making any bank. I also included a throw back image of Ashanti when she had thick eyebrows, a mustache, and side burns. Thank GOD for electrolysis, huh?
