Donnie Klang was recently quoted saying the following in regards to his album making it to the # 19 spot for only 2 weeks on the Billboard charts. It has since fallen off the charts for obvious reasons...the album SUCKS! Anyway, heres what he allegedly said:
“I’m not sure why maybe because the majority of the Bad boy family is black. I’m not really sure if this is the place for me anymore, but I’m trying to work through with this and to tell you the truth its really hard to work with Black people in general."
FLOP FLOP FLOP!
ReplyDeletei am so glad his cd flopped!! he need to go some where and sit his tired justin timberlake wanna be, robin thicke never was, jon b dreamin ass down and go make some wack ass pop cds for the white folk. thats what he wanted to do anyway. his heart aint in it
ReplyDeleteexactly!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteexactly!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHe really Said That? Whaat!!! His Songs Do Suck !!! I Don't believe that he said that. I'm Shocked Lol!
ReplyDeleteWell....Donnie. Since you feel that way, then perhaps you need to go back to your country roots and work with thos other than blacks to make your life easier. The difficulty is working with blacks lies in your INABILITY to perform up to standard, be it singing, dancing and naturally possessing swagger.
ReplyDeleteI think the whole thing is a lie he would never say that it would hurt his career and he never had a problem with day 26 or diddy!!! and his songs were mostly written by black people!! so ppl stop being naive, dont believe everything you read, dont pass any judgements on ppl u havent even met or known.Peace!
ReplyDeleteC'mon guys, Donnie is a hard-working person who's working hard to create a status. Evidently through you guys' obssesion with an innacurate quote, he is garnering a status of some kind.
ReplyDeleteLook, Donnie Klag is not a racist, assuming this is an accurate quote (which I highly doubt), it could've occurred either one, after an unfortunate experience that he had with Diddy and Bad Boy, two, early in his career, when he wasn't sure what was going on, or three, merely as a joke. There aren't any underlying racial implications, rest
assured.
Overall, being thrust into starlight, especially under such a success oriented person (Diddy), can be overwielming at times, let's not hate him because of a quote. I'm not saying everyone should buy his album, but give him a chance, he not only works for himself, but he has been known to help many other artists for nothing more than a thanks. He is generally passionate about what he does, he does music, and he wants to please you, the audience, the fans.
Give him (another) chance,
Danny
he is so sad! i had a feelin he was going to give up on his career, because he was solo he had no help with his songs and that made it hard for him to focus on what he had to do.
ReplyDeletethe only time working with black people is hard is when you're trying to break onto the scene through production. if you're hot, you're hot, and i'm pretty sure black people understand that. also donnie klang is pretty terrible i dont know who writes his shit or why he sings it the way he does but he fucks up a beat like it was his job.
